None. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising pixel, no Facebook or Google tag, and no cross-site tracker anywhere in these pages.

The only thing stored on your device is your answer to the privacy notice, so it stops appearing. If you accept, it is saved permanently in your browser’s local storage under the key zulic.consent. If you decline, it is saved only for the current tab and disappears when you close it — which is why declining means the notice may come back on your next visit. That is the honest trade-off of not storing anything.

How we count visitors

Through our web host’s server-side statistics. Every web server writes a log line for each file it sends — the requesting IP address, the page, the time, the browser’s user-agent string, and the page that referred you. Hostinger summarises those logs into visitor counts for us.

The distinction that matters: this happens on the server, from records it already has to keep in order to function. Nothing is injected into this page, no script runs in your browser to report on you, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing about you is being sent anywhere it was not already going in order to load the site.

Two files that come from somewhere else

We should be straight about this, because “we don’t track you” is often said by sites that quietly load half a dozen third-party scripts.

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and its scroll-animation library from Cloudflare’s CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Requesting a file from any server reveals your IP address and browser to that server, so Google and Cloudflare can see that a browser at your address loaded a page on this site. Neither sets a cookie in this context, and neither receives your email, your name or anything you type. If you would rather they saw nothing at all, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will stop both — the site is built to stay readable without them.

The email address you give us

What we ask for: your email address, and optionally a first name and which categories interest you.

Why: to tell you when the shop opens, and occasionally when something new is cut. Nothing else.

Where it goes: it is emailed to our own studio inbox. It is not sold, rented, shared or passed to an advertising platform, and we do not upload it to Meta or Google as a “custom audience”.

How long we keep it: until you ask us to delete it, or until the list is clearly dead.

How to get rid of it: every email has a one-click unsubscribe, or write to hello@zulic.ng and ask us to delete your address. We will, and we will confirm that we have.

What we never ask for

There is no checkout on this site yet, so we do not take card details, and no payment information passes through these pages at all. We do not ask for your address, your date of birth, or your phone number. When checkout does open, a payment processor will handle card data directly and this page will be updated before that happens, not after.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. Since what we hold is an email address and possibly a first name, all three requests are quick. Write to hello@zulic.ng.

If you are in the UK or EU, the same requests apply under the GDPR, and the legal basis we rely on for the mailing list is your consent, given by submitting the form.

Changes to this page

If what we collect changes — particularly when checkout opens, or if analytics that run in your browser are ever added — this page changes first and the notice reappears. It will not change quietly.
